UK-based green fintech Tred has partnered with global B2B payments company Nium to issue its new sustainable product – the Tred green debit card.
Tred customers will be able to track their spending and carbon footprint at the same time
Demand for green fintech solutions is on the rise and the financial sector is also embracing this trend. UK challenger bank Starling, as well as UK kids-focused challenger GoHenry, have both launched eco-friendly debit cards in the last year.
Eco-friendly fintechs such as Treecard, Emitwise, Creed and Clim8 have also arrived on the scene recently, showing strong industry-wide support for ethical and sustainable financial services.
“Every time our customers use Tred cards, they’ll help us plant trees and will contribute to a better future for our planet.”
